Preorder Arming Doublet "Azincourt" Canvas – Leather

The "Azincourt" arming doublet is a particularly mobile, sturdy jacket featuring detachable sleeves and cowhide leather reinforcements at the key points for lacing armor components. The design is modeled after 15th-century jackets.

As a base for plate armor, this arming doublet is ideally suited. Armor parts can be fastened to it, ensuring they stay securely in place. The doublet is an excellent choice for realistic depictions and demanding combat roles.

You can pierce the lacing holes for your armor parts exactly where you need them. For this reason, only the holes for the arms and the front closures are pre-placed upon delivery. (Simply mark the spot and pierce through the leather with a hole punch or a sharp awl...)

Design & Style

The arming doublet fits tightly to the torso. If necessary, you can add your own darts to achieve an even closer fit. This allows the sturdy jacket to be best combined with your armor. Nestelcord laces with brass tips serve as the jacket's closure and provide a functional, beautiful eye-catcher. The doublet is excellently suited for historical depictions of the 15th century. In combination with finely decorated belt gear, this jacket quickly becomes the centerpiece of a cohesive kit. Combine the "Azincourt" arming doublet with armor and leather goods typical of this period to achieve an especially authentic look.
