Shipping and Delivery Conditions
Thank you for your order at Freyhand! We place great importance on ensuring that our handmade products arrive safely and quickly. Below you’ll find all information regarding shipping.
1. Shipping Partners
We generally ship our parcels with DHL [in exceptional cases with UPS / DPD]. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email, including a tracking link.
2. Overview of Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on the destination country and the type of goods (standard parcel or bulky goods). You can find an overview of the applicable flat rates here:

Note for non‑EU countries: For deliveries outside the EU (e.g., Switzerland), additional customs duties, taxes, and fees may apply. These must be paid by the buyer and are charged directly by the responsible customs or tax authorities.
3. Delivery Times & Processing
We truly do our best to ship quickly! However, please pay attention to the status of the items in your cart:
Stock items: These products are ready for immediate dispatch. Delivery time within Germany is approx. 7 working days. During periods of high order volume, it may take longer. Important: It’s June, and we are now in peak season until September, so shipping may unfortunately take longer than usual. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us at support@freyhand.com. We’ll do our best!
Made-to-order items from our workshops: Products that are manufactured for you in our workshops have a longer delivery time. The exact duration is listed on each product page (usually 8–12 weeks).
Unless otherwise agreed, shipping takes place only once all items in an order are ready for dispatch. Please note that this also applies to pre-orders.
4. Transport Damage
If your parcel shows obvious damage, please report it to the delivery driver if possible and contact our support team. This helps us with the claim process with the shipping provider. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
